Welcome to our facersizing playlist where you will learn step by step on how to use your new face fitness trainer TUA!
How does Tua work?
Tua Face Fitness uses a special facial wand consisting of 2 sprung electrodes adjustable in every direction so that they can adapt to every face conformation. The stainless-steel electrodes are covered by special cellulose sponges which are hand-washable.
Before treatment and at the start of each program, moisten the sponges thoroughly by using 12 drops of water using the provided water dispenser bottle. Start at the middle of the sponge and cover the area around the sponge as the photo shows. Avoid adding an excessive amount of water on the wand to prevent a water leakage inside the electrodes that may effect the operation of the device.
Start
1. Switch on Tua Face Fitness by keeping the central key pressed down for over 1 second.
2. Tua Face Fitness features 5 workout programs covering different treatment areas of the face and neck. These are selected by means of the right arrow key (forward movement) or the left arrow key (backwards movement).
3. To start the program press the central key lightly once. The clock icon flashes to indicate you are now in workout mode.
4. The intensity of the electro stimulation, expressed in milliamperes (mA), is indicated on the right of the display screen to the right of the face icon. This is initially set at 00.
- By pressing the up arrow the intensity can be increased.
- By pressing the down arrow the intensity can be decreased
5. The progress of the treatment time is indicated by the flashing clock icon and that of the minutes symbol (02). Each program (with the exception of treating the lips area) is conducted to both sides of the face.

Program 1 - Cheek Bone area
With regular treatment the entire area will appear more toned and firm.

Program 1 - Cheek Bone area
2 minutes each side
A slight stretching will occur at the corner of the mouth as it is exercised upward and outward due to the muscle contraction. With regular treatment the entire area will appear more toned and firm.
Instructions
Position the wand vertically, just above the corner of the mouth. During operation, the wand can be moved along the entire cheek bone and just skim the edge of the under eye area.
Second exercise
For a second exercise, position the wand obliquely at the corner of the mouth to the cheek bone; this can be moved as far as the ear for a complete stimulation of the lower part of the cheek bone, skimming the cheek.

Increasing the volume of the upper lip and combating the appearance of vertical wrinkles typical of aging.

Program 2 - Lower Cheek (jowl)
2 minutes each side
This exercise contracts and lifts the upper lip, causing the cheek and nose wing (outer part of the nostril called the ‘ala’) to stretch.
Instructions
In this exercise, the wand should be positioned obliquely, near the corner of the jaw (where your jaw bone ‘turns a corner’ before reaching the ear).
During treatment, the wand can be moved as far as the ear, following the shape of the face, for a complete exercise on the entire lower cheek area.
Effects
The stimulation of this area tones the cheek and gives the face a relaxed expression, as if slightly smiling, increasing the volume of the upper lip and combating the appearance of vertical wrinkles typical of aging.

Program 3 - Forehead area
Reduce expression wrinkles and raises the eyebrows

Program 3 - Forehead area
2 minutes each side
Stimulation of the forehead muscles helps reduce expression wrinkles and raises the eyebrows, increasing the space between the eyelashes and brows, which opens up the eyes in a youthful way.
Instructions
The wand should rest on the temporal region, with the two electrodes located obliquely between the hairline and the edge of the eyebrow, slightly above the latter.
During the exercise, the wand can slide across the remainder of the forehead in order to treat the whole area.
Be mindful of the intensity of the stimulation. The forehead muscles are, in fact, very thin and delicate. Consequently, lower the intensity slightly if necessary.
Advanced exercise
Here is an additional exercise for keen users. Position the wand vertically immediately behind the auricle of the ear. You may need to move the wand a little higher so that the upper con- tact sponge is in line with the top part of the auricle (behind and underneath the tip of the ear).This advanced exercise pulls the auricle of the ear and the edge of the cheek upwards and outwards. It has a lifting effect on the cheek.

Program 4 - Lips, jawline, chin & neck area

Plump the appearance of lips, tone and sculpt jawline, firm the neck and chin muscles
Instructions
This program has been developed to stimulate several areas: the lips, jawline, chin and neck area.
4.1 Upper and lower lip area
The wand is positioned horizontally over the upper lip and beneath the lower lip.
This exercise helps to plump up the appearance of the lips and increase their volume, while you are using Tua Face Fitness. It helps to prevent atrophy (shrinkage) of the lip muscles which typically results in thinning as you age.
4.2 Jawline & Chin area
Position the wand on the lower jaw, between the corner of the jaw (where your jaw bone ‘turns a corner’ before reaching the ear) and the apex (point of your chin), following the conformation.
During the exercise, the wand can slide along the entire lower jaw for a complete exercise on the whole area (or remain static). As an alternative, the facial wand can be applied in the same way but placed underneath the edge of the jaw bone.
This exercise contracts the chin and tones up the jaw line area, helps sculpt the face oval and reduces the stretching caused by the drop of the Bichat’s fat pad.
4.3 Neck area
The wand should be positioned vertically. During the exercise, the wand can slide in this position to extend the work to the entire area.
This exercise works to strengthen and firm the muscles in the neck and under the chin that lose their elasticity over time.
Take care because the neck area is sensitive. To start, use low stimulation intensities.

Program 5 - Under Eye Area
This exercise stimulates micro-lymphatic drainage thereby reducing their appearance.

Program 5 - Under eye area
2 minutes each side
This is a very useful exercise because it stimulates micro-lymphatic drainage via the gentle ‘squeezing’ of the bags under the eyes thereby reducing their appearance.
Instructions
This application is dedicated to the eye area. The wand should be positioned horizontally just beneath the thin skin of the under eye area, at the very top of the cheek. The lower lid and eye bag are contracted without lowering.
Be careful because this is a very delicate area and needs to be treated with low intensity.
TFF Advice
You can treat one whole side of your face first before repeating all the programs to the other side, or, after each program has finished you can go back and repeat that program to the other side, treating both sides of your face as you go along.
